Meet the Team
Georgie Simms, Founder & CEO
Georgie founded F2F Systems Ltd in 2026 after identifying a clear and persistent gap in how food system waste is managed at scale.

Having progressed through the Aldi Graduate Scheme, one of the UK’s most competitive and operationally demanding leadership programmes, Georgie worked as an Area Manager, gaining first-hand insight into how food moves through complex FMCG supply chains. It was in this role that the limitations of existing waste solutions became clear, particularly at the intersection of cost, scale, and sustainability.​

Growing up in rural Somerset and having been vegan and vegetarian for over 10 years, Georgie has long believed that some of the most effective and practical climate solutions sit within the food system itself. F2F was created to turn that belief into both infrastructure and a solution that works in the real world.

Previously, Georgie graduated from the University of Bath with a BSc in Economics, specialising in environmental economics, carbon markets, incentives, and consumer behaviour.

2024 - 2025
Aldi UK
Aldi provided first-hand insight into how food moves through complex supply chains, where waste is created, and why reducing it at scale is operationally challenging. Based in London, Georgie's training spanned Aldi's most logistically challenging region, with up to 200 personel reports across 5 stores.
2020 - 2024
University of Bath
Georgie studied Economics at the University of Bath. In her final year, she completed a dissertation exploring the impact of climate crises on Sub-Saharan Africa.

Somerset
Growing up in rural Somerset, Georgie is closely linked to the farming community, and has a passion for the great British outdoors.
